Prixvix / Artists & Photographers

Work priced like art deserves a store built like one.

For fine-art photographers and artists selling limited editions: a custom-built print store under your name, your work previewed on a wall at true scale, and fulfilment through a professional lab — no printing equipment, no gallery commission, no template.

Who this is for

You sell serious prints. Your website undersells them.

The pattern is always the same, and it costs real money.

The work

Editions worth hundreds to thousands

Large-format acrylic, Dibond, framed giclée. Collectors and interior buyers, not poster shoppers. Every sale matters, and there aren’t thousands of them.

The site

A template that flattens everything

The same theme as ten thousand portfolios, a small JPEG on white, and no way for a buyer to feel what 120 × 180 cm behind acrylic actually is.

The sale

Closed by email, split with galleries

“What would that cost framed, in the bigger size?” — answered one DM at a time. Or the gallery closes it and keeps half. The store should do this work.

What we build

Custom-made. Not customised.

We design and build the store around your work — typography, pacing, and collection structure set by the photographs, not by a theme’s slots. It reads like a gallery’s viewing room, and it transacts like a shop.

At its centre is Studio: your buyer puts a piece on a wall at true scale, walks the sizes, switches acrylic to framed to Dibond, and watches the price move — the moment that turns “beautiful work” into “that one, in the large size”.

Studio is live on our homepage demo right now — try it with one of your own photographs.

Fulfilment

Keep the lab. Lose the manual work.

You don’t need a printer, and you don’t need to switch labs. The store works with the professional lab you already trust for acrylic, Dibond and giclée — or with your own studio if you print yourself.

Your lab

The quality stays yours

You keep choosing who prints your work. We wire the store to that choice: files, sizes, finishes and shipping details arrive at the lab the way the lab needs them.

Automation

As automated as your lab allows

Labs with ordering APIs get orders placed automatically. Labs without one get a complete, structured order to place in minutes — honest automation, not a promise we can’t keep.

Margin

Your price, your margin

Lab cost is what it is; everything above it is yours. No gallery commission, no marketplace fee, no revenue share to us — the monthly fee is flat and published.

We build and run fine-art print stores of our own on this exact stack, ordering from the same class of labs — ask, and we’ll walk you through one.

Pricing

Published, like everything else we do.

The Artist Store is our Storefront + Studio package: €2,900 setup + €290/month — design, build, editions, checkout, fulfilment wiring, hosting and support. For work that sells at gallery prices, one large piece covers the setup. Bigger, fully bespoke builds start with a €1,500 flat-fee prototype, then a quote you can hold us to.

Questions

Asked by artists, answered straight.

Do I need my own printing equipment?

No. Orders go to a professional lab you trust — automated where the lab has an ordering API, a structured ready-to-place order where it doesn’t. If you print your own work, orders feed your workflow instead.

How is this different from Pixieset, Format or Squarespace?

Those are templates, and if a template serves your work, use one — honestly. But prints priced in the hundreds or thousands are bought differently: the buyer needs true scale, the edition story, and a store that carries the same care as the work. That’s a custom build, not a theme.

Can it handle limited editions?

Yes — edition sizes per print and per format, remaining counts, sold-out states, and certificates of authenticity in the order flow. Open editions and commissions work too.

I already have a portfolio site I like. Can I keep it?

Yes. We can embed Studio and the store into it, or build the print store as its own space — shop.yourname.com — and leave your portfolio untouched.

Who owns the store?

It runs under your domain and your accounts. No long lock-in — if you leave, it keeps working. We’d rather keep you with sales than with a contract.

Contact

Show us the work.

Send your site or Instagram and roughly what your prints sell for. We’ll tell you honestly whether a custom store will pay for itself — and if a template would serve you better, we’ll say that instead.
